We do not have list of strict rules and regulations. We will make sure all events are family friendly and fun. Everyone is asked to remember this is for fun and for charity. We want the kids to be kids. We know part of the magic of being a child is to just play, and most have little or no pageant experience, so we encourage them to "just be themselves." Pageants are open to EVERYONE of any age ~ babies to adults are encouraged to participate.
If you have pictures from the past Texas Star, Poinsettia Princess, Christmas Star pageants or Heavenly Hearts past events you would like posted, please send them!
The next event will be May 26th in Bridge City, Texas. Again there will be THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN AWARDS. Every person will receive awards. Young girls will all receive a crown regardless of whether or not they win the queen title. Older girls will also receive a gift for participating.

Heavenly Hearts Charity System is pleased to announce it’s next event
Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Bridge City Ministerial Alliance, a nonprofit organization that helps famili...es in their time of need. Any contestant that brings a food item will receive 2 sweetheart votes for each item they bring (no limit), and any spectator that brings a food item will receive $2 off door admission. (We will take more donations but cannot offer more than $2 discount off door admission because of rental fees).

We are looking for all the summer cuties and beauties for our next charity “natural to semi-glitz” beauty pageant. Saturday, May 26th
EVERY ENTRY WILL GET A CROWN! EVERY ENTRY WILL WIN A SIDE AWARD!
Pageant will take place at the Bridge City Community Center, - 105 Parkside, Bridge City TX 77611 (409) 735-6652
Attire: You will need two outfits. Pageant/Formal wear: any style as the dress will not be scored; how it flatters your child will be scored. However, we will have a side award sash for best dressed. You will see the cupcake style dresses there but you are not required to wear that style if you do not want to. Glitz dresses are ok for this part but NOT glitz faces. Again the dress will not be scored. AND you will need to wear your choice of summer attire. (Nothing glitz, no costumes. We want something fun. Capri’s, sundresses, a tasteful cute swimsuit. Props welcome but not required. Have fun with it.) Swimsuits ok for young contestants, NO swimwear allowed for ages 12 and up.
Age Divisions: subject o change if necessary
0-23 mos., 2-3 yrs., 4-5 yrs., 6-8 yrs., 9 -11yrs., 12 -14yrs., 15-17 yrs., 18 and up yrs., Ms., & Mrs.
Divisions are subject to change if it benefits the program and contestants. BOYS and GILRS. Boys do not compete with girls.
Registration: All boys AND 0-5yrs. 9:30am no sooner as we will not allow anyone other than workers inside before then because we need that time to get ready Competition: starts 10:15am (All entries will receive a small crown)
Registration: 6-11yrs. 11:45am Competition: starts about 12:30pm (All entries will receive a small crown)
Registration: 12 and up 1:15 pm Competition: around 2pm (All entries will receive a crown and/or a gift)
Awards subject to change at director’s discretion - this would be to add more or if an item is out of stock or sponsor changes item. More awards will be added as we get sponsors, this may include photo packages, gift cards, and other gifts.
Queens and Kings: large crown, monogrammed banner, gift, & plaque or trophy and gift.
Prince and Princess: small crown, banner & plaque or trophy and gift.
1st & 2nd alternates: small crown, banner and gift.
All Future Queens/kings: small crown and gift.
Photogenic & MANY other awards will be awarded in each division. We like to give MANY awards for you to brag about! We will award best hair, smile, eyes, personality, etc… much more.
2 Overall Portfolio Winners will receive a crown
Photogenic and Portfolio Pictures may be color or black & white photo. No frames. Pictures will be returned. Natural or semi glitz pictures meaning make-up in moderation only. Picture should complement the child, not over power them. Bring pictures either day before or day of the pageant. They will be judged just before your division starts.
Sweetheart will receive a nice crown and gift.
This year we want a Heavenly Angel winner. This will be the individuals who raise the most money for the pageant. This will be with Sponsors or Over-all. Ticket Winner: crown, monogrammed banner, and plaque.1 runner up ticket winner will receive a crown, gift, & plaque (Must sell at least 125 tickets to qualify) We have vendors & sponsors who are donating gifts, gift certificates, & valuable discounts on great items which will be awarded to various winners. Awards normally value $2,000 or more!
Entry Fee: Entries much be received by this date – not postmarked. The sooner you enter the better the deal. NO EXCEPTIONS NO REFUNDS

Entry includes all optional and one photogenic entry. (Entry fees may be paid personally, with ticket sales, or sponsors.) No personal checks taken after June 9th. After that date business checks, cashier’s checks, or cash only. If you plan on paying with ticket money, please have it paid by the deadline! You may continue to sell tickets and turn in the rest of the ticket money the day of or day before the pageant. Entry fee does NOT include the optional portfolio contest.
Portfolio Contest: $15 (please include 5 -12 pictures in an album or folder, labeled with contestant’s name and age). This is an optional contest and will not determine queen outcome. Bring the day before or the day of the pageant.

2.DOOR ADMISSION: ADULTS $7.00, CHILDREN $5.00, AGE 2 AND UNDER FREE! Senior Citizens and military $5 If you bring a nonperishable canned good you may either turn it in for $2 off door admission (Only $2 off no more with extra cans due to rental fees) or you may turn in as many as you want for 2 sweetheart votes each can. Sweetheart votes may also be purchased for $1 each. This does not determine the winners of king/queens. This is just a people’s choice award.

4.DIRECTOR HAS THE RIGHT TO COMBINE OR SPLIT ANY DIVISIONS or change awards IF SEEN NECESSARY.
5.UNSPORTSMANSHIP-LIKE CONDUCT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED FROM ANYONE (THIS INCLUDES PARENTS/GUARDIANS, CONTESTANTS, & GUESTS)! This is a family friendly event.
6.JUDGES WILL BREAK ALL TIES WITH AN ONSTAGE LINE UP! JUDGES' DECISIONS ARE FINAL!!
7.$10.00 first SIBLING/MOTHER-DAUGHTER DISCOUNTS! A third child will get $20 off.
8.PHOTOGENIC PICTURES AND PORTFOLIOS ARE TO BE TURNED IN DAY BEFORE OR DAY OF THE PAGEANT. Only one photo is included in entry fee. Each additional photo will be $5.00. Additional portfolios are $10.
-No frames and no photo larger than 8x10. Pictures smaller than 5x7 are hard to see and have less chance of winning. We suggest not turning in pictures smaller than 5x7. -Photos may be in COLOR, SEPIA, OR BLACK AND WHITE! No full glitz photos, they will not score as well because this is a natural to semi glitz pageant, with the exception of make up in moderation.
9.CONTESTANTS WILL MODEL IN “T” FORMATION unless they choose not to. This is only a suggestion.
10.ATTIRE IS PAGEANT/FORMAL WEAR & YOUR CHOICE OF SUMMER WEAR. OUTFITS SHOULD BE AGE APPROPRATE. PROPS ARE ALLOWED. WE WILL PROVIDE ALL MUSIC FOR THIS EVENT. GLITZ DRESSES ARE ALLOWED, BUT KEEP IN MIND WE ARE LOOKING FOR A WELL-ROUNDED NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL CHILD/ADULT, SO DO NOT OVERWHELM YOURSELF WITH ANYTHING THAT WOULD DRAW ATTENTION AWAY FROM YOUR NATURAL BEAUTY. PAGEANT HAIR AND MAKE-UP ARE ALLOWED, BUT MAKE-UP SHOULD BE AGE APPROPRIATE. ANY MAKEUP SHOULD ENHANCE THE NATURAL BEAUTY GOD HAS BLESSED YOU WITH RATHER OVERWHELM IT. Hair pieces should look natural and be undetected if worn. If your child has glasses, braces on teethe etc. points will not be deducted during judging of this competition.
11. All photos taken may be used as advertisement unless you specify you do not wish for your child’s picture to be used.
RAFFLE TICKETS ARE TO HELP PAY ENTRY OR WIN EXTRA AWARDS. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CUTTING YOUR TICKETS BEFORE SENDING THEM IN. You are not required to sell tickets, but money from each ticket sold will be discounted from the entry fee. Do not forget we will be awarding great prizes to the top ticket sellers.
